Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.
• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests, manage waitlist and reservations, escort to tables, and optimize seating.
• Reservation Management: Take and confirm reservations, maintain reservation book, communicate special requests.
• Guest Assistance: Provide information on menu items, daily specials, promotions, coat check if applicable.
• Communication and Coordination: Maintain communication with servers and kitchen, relay important guest information.
• Waitlist Management: Track waiting guests, notify when tables are ready, communicate wait times.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep host stand and waiting area clean and stocked, ensure menus are ready.
