Job summary

Livery Montgomery in Montgomery, OH is seeking a Host to be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm, welcoming service and helping ensure smooth seating and wait times.

You will greet guests, manage reservations, assist with coat check, communicate with servers and kitchen, and keep the host stand organized. Training is provided; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.
• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude; manage waitlist and reservations.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and assist as needed.
• Seat guests according to seating charts and server rotation to optimize turnover.
• Take and confirm reservations over the phone or through the reservation system; keep the book up to date.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen to ensure smooth seating and service.
• Keep the host stand and waiting area clean and organized; ensure menus and promotional materials are available.
