Job summary

Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association’s Meridian Restaurant is seeking a Host Person to welcome members and guests, seat parties, and manage reservations and waitlists. The role involves assisting servers and management, handling to-go orders, and ensuring a smooth guest flow during busy periods.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering calls, processing payments, and supporting front-of-house cleanliness while delivering a high level of service in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Food handler’s card must be obtainable within 30 days of employment.
• Restaurant hours 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; flexible shifts

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and waitlists; coordinate guest flow.
• Answer heavy phone calls and communicate with servers and management.
• Assist with to-go orders and meal deliveries for residents; manage packaging and payments.
• Support front of house cleanliness and assist with service as needed.
• Perform opening, running, and closing side work.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
