Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage wait times, and escort customers to dining or bar areas. You will work closely with the FOH team to ensure smooth seating and exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

The role requires strong English communication, teamwork, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety in a dynamic hotel environment. A valid SNHD Food Handler's Card is preferred, with flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests and co-workers, both in person and on the telephone.
• Preferred: Additional foreign language.
• Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification that is currently valid for at least 6 months.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue and provide accurate wait times.
• Monitor waiting lists and manage reservations.
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
• Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's name.
• Greet customers upon departure and maintain a clean reception area.
• Coordinate with wait staff about seating options and guest needs.
• Assist hosts and servers; ensure items are stocked and equipment is in good condition.
• Explain basic details of food dishes and beverages to guests.
• Maintain standard SNHD health and safety practices.
