Job summary

The Ahern Hotel & Convention Center is seeking Restaurant Hosts to join our team in Las Vegas. You will greet guests, take reservations, and help seat parties while maintaining a cheerful, professional demeanor.

You will coordinate with the Front Desk and Chef on Duty, manage To-Go orders when time allows, and ensure accurate guest details are logged. A health card and 18+ age are required.

Qualifications

• Motivated, energetic personality.
• Fluent English communication (written and oral).
• Ability to work efficiently in a team.
• Applicants must be 18+ years old.
• Health Card from the Southern Nevada Health District required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the door with a cheerful presence.
• Take reservations and log guest details into the reservation system.
• Curate accurate, fair, and efficient seating, coordinating with staff.
• Answer phone calls and assist with To-Go orders.
• Maintain current menu knowledge and inform patrons about events.
• Coordinate flow of dining room and stay in communication with Front Desk and Chef on Duty.
• Assist other positions when busy and uphold safety policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene per management.
