Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests at our venue. You will manage reservations and guide clients to simulators or bar areas, delivering excellent service with a smile and 5i attitude. The role supports a busy, hospitality-driven environment and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

This part-time, non-exempt position involves nights and weekends, with tips included. Knowledge of MindBody helps, but enthusiasm for guest care is key.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Experience with reservations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills both on the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and 5i attitude.
• Provide accurate wait times and manage waiting lists.
• Manage reservations in MindBody booking software.
• Escort customers to simulators or bar areas.
• Share information on specials, memberships, and leagues.
• Acknowledge customers as they depart.
• Coordinate with wait staff about simulator availability.
• Maintain a clean reception area.
• Answer calls and address inquiries.
• Support other staff as needed.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Welcome guests to the venue with a smile and positive 5i attitude
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Manage reservations in MindBody, our booking software
• Escort customers to assigned simulator or bar areas
• Provide information on specials as well as memberships and league information
• Acknowledge customers upon their departure
• Coordinate with wait staff about available simulator options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Answer incoming calls and address customers’ inquiries
• Assist other staff as needed
• Required Qualifications:
• Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required
• Experience in managing reservations
• Demonstrable customer-service skills
• Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in-person
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor all simulators and bar area
• Availability to work various shifts as needed
