Grimm Artisanal Ales in New York seeks a friendly Grimm Tavern Host who is the first and last impression of our hospitality. You warmly greet guests, manage the dining flow with Resy, and keep the front of house organized during busy service.

You will check guests in and seat parties in real time, coordinate with servers and managers, and handle guest concerns calmly. You also support opening and closing duties and ensure the host stand, menus, and entryway are clean and stocked.

Formación

• Prior experience in a guest-facing hospitality role.
• Experience with Resy is required.
• Strong verbal communication and multitasking during high-volume periods.
• Comfortable using a Toast POS system.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using Resy.
• Check guests in and seat parties in real time to keep tables updated.
• Balance floor sections and rotate seating with servers and management.
• Respond to Resy messages professionally and adjust bookings as needed.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates and update guests as needed.
• Bus and reset tables promptly after guests depart.
• Maintain the host stand, menus, and entryway in clean, organized condition.
• Track large party, private event, and VIP reservations in Resy and flag for managers.
• Handle guest concerns calmly and loop in a manager as needed.
• Support opening and closing duties and reconcile reservations against covers.
