Job summary

Dave & Buster’s Inc. in Sugar Land, TX seeks a Front Desk Host to deliver a welcoming Guest experience. You will guide Guests through their dining, game rental, and merchandise interactions with a positive attitude and clear communication.

Role requires friendly demeanor, ability to read and communicate in English, and availability to work varied shifts. Experience in restaurant or retail is helpful, but not mandatory; professional appearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Restaurant, retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly and able to smile frequently.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Dresses in a neat, clean, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests at the front desk and guide them through game rentals, merchandise sales and dining.
• Provide a positive, welcoming first impression and assist Guests with inquiries.
• Manage wait times, seating, and flow of Guests from entry to table.
• Process transactions, handle cash and reconcile banks as needed.
• Maintain stocked, clean Front Desk and Host station; restock menus and supplies.
• Escalate issues to Manager and assist other Team Members as needed.
