Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Host/Hostess to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience and manage the restaurant flow. You will provide a warm first and last impression to guests and quote accurate wait times when needed.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment. Training is provided; opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Prior experience is not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service etiquette.
• Ability to maintain sanitation and safety procedures.
• Strong communication with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders).
• Uphold our high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control.
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang's specifications.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Conducts side-work as required for each shift.
