Job summary

The Host at PF Changs China Bistro is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by managing the flow of the restaurant, greeting guests, answering phones, seating guests, taking reservations, and handling takeout inquiries to ensure smooth service.

You will contribute to a positive first impression, maintain sanitation standards at the front, learn the seating layout, and support curbside and side-work duties during shifts.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to follow sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Effective communication with coworkers and guests.
• Flexible to work varied shifts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders).
• Uphold high safety and sanitation standards at front door, host desk, lobby, and crowd control.
• Learn seating layout, server areas, and how to deliver food.
• Set and clear tables neatly according to PF Chang's specs.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Perform side-work as required for each shift.
