Bob Evans Restaurants is hiring a Host Cashier to warmly greet guests, seat them, and manage seating flow with precision. You will handle cash and card transactions, assist in promoting specials, and keep dining areas clean and welcoming, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of experience in a restaurant setting, strong guest service skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy with money handling and menu knowledge.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills.
• Must handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and know the menu.
• Computer skills (POS system).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables.
• Monitors guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Delivers the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests.
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean and stocked.
• Practices safe food and beverage handling.
• Communicates with guests and handles crowds, putting guests at ease.
• Handles cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Assist in marketing and promotional services and communicate new promotions to guests.
• Clears, sanitizes, and sets tables as needed.
• Performs essential duties with dependability and teamwork.
