Job summary

Mexican Sugar in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly and professional host/hostess to welcome guests and guide them to their seats, ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, coordinating seating, answering questions, and collaborating with the team to anticipate guest needs.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer service experience, read/write/speak English, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of host/hostess or other relevant customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Stand for long periods & lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Start every guest experience by sweeping guests away to their ideal destination to unwind and escape the day.
• Move with a purpose achieved with fast-paced foot speed, graceful flow, and purpose in every movement.
• Recognize our VIP guests and kick off their visits by welcoming back the best of friends.
• Ensure we know when an event, like a birthday or anniversary is happening, so we can join the fiesta and make it muy especial
