Job summary

Mexican Sugar in Dallas, TX is seeking friendly hosts/hostesses to welcome guests and create memorable experiences at our sultry Mexican venue. You will start guest journeys by greeting them, guiding tables, and maintaining a smooth, attentive flow throughout service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in host/hostess or customer service roles, a high school diploma or equivalent, and are fluent in English. OpenTable experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of host/hostess or other relevant customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Stand for long periods & lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Start every guest experience by greeting and guiding guests to their table.
• Move with a fast-paced, graceful flow while providing attentive service.
• Recognize VIP guests and welcome them back to enhance their experience.
• Know when events like birthdays or anniversaries occur and participate to make it special.
• Encourage teamwork by sharing expertise and assisting colleagues as needed.
