The Deer Park Tavern in Newark, Delaware is hiring a Host to welcome guests, seat parties, and help ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will organize the floor plan, reservations, and waitlist while maintaining a clean, welcoming host stand.

Candidates should be friendly and customer-focused with strong organization and communication skills. Prior hosting or serving experience is preferred but not required; compensation is $15.00 per hour with potential for advancement.

• Experience in restaurant hosting or serving preferred but not required.
• Friendly, customer-focused personality and strong verbal greetings.
• Ability to clearly convey guests' needs to staff and managers.
• Proficient telephone communication for reservations and inquiries.

Mansioni

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus and info on promotions.
• Assign patrons to tables according to rotation to balance workloads.
• Inform guests of promotions and introduce service staff.
• Manage guest flow and provide accurate wait times.
• Answer the phone and maintain a neat host stand.
• Make popcorn and keep the area clean.
