Job summary

Ashby Hospitality Group is seeking a Bar Back / Busser for The Deer Park Tavern in Newark, DE. You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by cleaning tables, stocking the bar area, and supporting the service team.

Responsibilities include wiping and setting tables, clearing dishes, washing glassware, and stocking supplies in a fast-paced environment. Compensation starts at $15.00 per hour with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with food service regulations is preferred.
• Able to use basic hand tools or kitchen equipment.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Able to lift and move heavy objects when needed.
• Can stand for extended periods while performing duties.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Wipe tables or seats with sanitizer and a cloth.
• Set tables with clean plates, silverware, condiments, or other supplies.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes, tableware and bus tubs for cleaning.
• Wash glassware and ensure cleanliness of the bar area.
• Perform cleaning or stocking duties to support customer service.
