Job summary

Punch Bowl Social in San Diego is looking for a friendly Host to set the vibe from the moment guests arrive. You’ll welcome guests, manage reservations, seat parties, answer phones, and keep the lobby guest-ready with a smile.

We value guests' experiences, teamwork, and great communication. Prior restaurant or bar experience is a plus, but not required and we offer growth opportunities and a referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• Must value guest experiences and pride in work.
• Positive attitude and good communication.
• Comfortable talking with strangers.
• Works well in a team.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant/bar preferred.
• Restaurant or bar experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and set the tone on entry.
• Manage reservations and keep operations running smoothly.
• Seat guests and explain how to get the most from Punch Bowl Social.
• Answer phones and take take-out orders.
• Keep lobby clean, safe, guest-ready.
• Team up with coworkers to deliver next-level hospitality.
