Job summary

MGM Resorts invites you to join The Cosmopolitan’s new Corner Store as a Hostperson, welcoming guests with polished hospitality and coordinating seating in a high-energy, luxury setting on the Las Vegas Strip.

You will work with reservations and service teams to ensure seamless guest flow, keep menus up to date, and help create a memorable dining journey for our guests in a dynamic Las Vegas environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a Hostperson in a fine dining restaurant or similar luxury dining environment preferred
• Experience with Open Table or SevenRooms system preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant
• Convey special orders, cake orders, and requests to management and reservations
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, house counts, table/seat numbers, dress code, and hours of operation
• Manage reservations and communicate guest needs to kitchen and management
• Ensure menus are up to date and menus are replaced when worn
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of work areas and assist during shift changes
• Coordinate with service and culinary teams to seat guests and share table details
