Job summary

Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Restaurant Host to provide fast, friendly service, greet and seat guests, and handle reservations in a casino environment. You will work in a fast-paced setting, requiring clear English communication and the ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds, with hours determined by a 24-hour schedule. Previous customer service experience is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have outgoing, friendly personality and a cheerful accommodating disposition.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to twenty pounds.
• Must be able to talk to and hear customers/co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverage to all guests.
• Greet and seat guests, take reservations, and answer inquiries.
• Answer telephone calls and report compliments or problems to shift manager.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, wine lists, and daily specials.
• Clear and reset tables according to host manual.
• Greet guests within 5 seconds in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Adhere to all company information security policies.
