Job summary

Dallas Summer Musicals, Inc. seeks a Front of House Associate to welcome and assist patrons at the Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas, TX. You will help with seating, wayfinding, programs, and general guest services for ticketed and major events.

The role requires on-site presence, evening and weekend availability, and strong customer service skills to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Qualifications

• General availability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Must work at least 20 percent of any front of house scheduled shifts.
• Access to consistent transport to Music Hall at Fair Park and other locations.
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability in scheduling and tasks.
• Professional, positive, courteous communication with customers.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems.
• Service-oriented and flexible in tasks assigned.
• Familiarity with basic computer hardware/software including email/workplace tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons with a friendly manner and provide wayfinding and general assistance.
• Scan tickets and perform access control duties.
• Work in various roles within the department as needed.
• Escort patrons to seats while distributing programs and materials.
• Guide patrons to entrances and exits safely.
• Maintain decorum and adherence to safety and behavior rules.
• Manage lines and direct patrons to suites, restrooms, dining, and common areas.
• Notify supervisors of special requests or conflicts as needed.
• Assist guests with mobility needs including wheelchair assistance.
• Be present through the end of performances for safe departures.
• Escalate requests or conflicts to supervisors when appropriate.
• Observe safety laws and report injuries or hazards.
