Job summary

Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon, is seeking a guest-focused host/hostess to greet and seat guests, assist with to-go orders, and maintain dining area cleanliness. You will engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and support floor staff as needed.

Ideal candidates will have high school or GED, at least one year in a host/hostess role, and knowledge of POS systems. A gaming license and food handler permits must be obtained within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience as host/hostess preferred.
• Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
• Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of start date.
• Must obtain VIP Permit within 45 days of start date.
• Knowledge of regulations governing food preparation and service.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables suitable to their needs.
• Take, prepare and package to-go orders as needed.
• Inspect dining and serving areas for cleanliness and proper setup.
• Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Perform general upkeep and stock merchandise and supplies.
• Assist other floor personnel as needed.
