Job summary

Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, seat them efficiently, and maintain high service standards in line with Forbes Travel Guide guidelines. You will manage the host stand, assist with seating arrangements, take and relay orders when needed, and collaborate with servers and management to ensure a smooth, guest-focused experience.

A valid US driver's license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• One year of restaurant Host experience

Responsibilities

• Greet guests quickly and efficiently with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Maintain the host stand and entrance to ensure readiness for service.
• Take food and beverage orders and input into POS when required, and check to-go orders for accuracy.
• Communicate with kitchen, servers, and managers regarding allergies or special requests.
• Assist with seating arrangements and table resets during service and help reset dining spaces between shifts.
• Ensure guest flow and service standards are upheld while complying with AOA and Forbes Travel Guide guidelines.
