Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet and seat guests in the dining outlets during operating hours. You will welcome Members and Guests, present menus, and coordinate seating to ensure smooth service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential, with flexibility to work across outlets and during holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 months related experience, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and seat Members/Guests
• Handle menus used during that meal period and keep them presentable
• Answer phone during hours of operation
• Report needs, problems or concerns to supervisor
• Assist servers when possible with clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
• Clear extra settings from tables when seating guests
• Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled
• Maintain a clean Host/Hostess stand and workstation
• Be available to work in various Food and Beverage outlets and during holidays as needed
