Job summary

Gale Hotels in Miami, FL seeks an enthusiastic Host to greet guests, seat them, and deliver friendly, high-standard service in our Food & Beverage team. You will manage wait lists, escort guests to tables, and coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth dining experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of guest-facing experience, is fluent in English and Spanish preferred, able to stand long hours, and committed to hygiene and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a guest-facing role in a restaurant.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly and escort to assigned dining area.
• Seat guests based on their preference and announce waiter names.
• Answer calls and provide appropriate service to guests.
• Manage bookings in person, over the phone, or online.
• Provide personalized service for large parties and VIPs.
• Monitor wait times and communicate them to guests as needed.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies.
• Handle dining charges, taxes, and to-go orders as required.
