Job summary

Quaker Steak & Lube in Sharon, PA is seeking a Host/Cashier to warmly welcome guests, manage front-of-house flow, and handle transactions accurately. You’ll create a friendly first impression and support a smooth dining experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

No experience is required, but prior host or cashier experience is a plus. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and help with seating, carryouts, and guest questions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage seating arrangements and wait lists to ensure smooth restaurant flow and guest satisfaction.
• Accurately process guest payments and handle cash, credit card, and other transactions responsibly.
• Answer phones, assist guests with questions, and support carryout or to-go orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, front entrance, and dining areas.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to support efficient operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
