Big Bad Breakfast in Pelham, AL is hiring a Host/Busser to greet guests, seat tables, and help keep the dining room inviting and efficient. This role combines front-of-house hospitality with light bussing tasks to support servers and maintain a smooth flow during busy periods.

You will welcome guests, manage waitlists, escort to tables, assist with phones and reservations when needed, and help reset and sanitize tables and common areas.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual; must be available mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the waitlist professionally.
• Accurately quote wait times and communicate seating availability.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Assist in answering phones, taking reservations, and handling to-go orders when needed.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
• Assist servers with delivering food, refilling drinks, and pre-bussing when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, host stand, and restrooms.
• Support overall team operations to keep service running smoothly.
