Job summary

Wingers Meridian is looking for an upbeat host to warmly greet guests, manage seating, and help create amazing experiences while guests dine. You will assist with front-desk duties, communicate with servers, and keep the dining area orderly.

This role requires standing for long periods, strong grooming, and a team‑oriented mindset to ensure guests feel welcome and relaxed throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet guests warmly and communicate clearly.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Open the front door for entering or leaving guests when possible.
• Record guest names and party size and provide estimated wait times when seating is limited.
• Call out name and party size when tables become available.
• Accommodate special seating requests when possible.
• Seat guests per preferences and balance customer flow at service stations.
• Offer menus, share server names and specials, and ensure table presentation.
• Relay messages to servers or managers as needed.
• Bus and/or help remove dirty tables; assist servers with drinks if time allows.
• Inspect bathrooms for cleanliness and correct as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
