Job summary

WINGERS Restaurant & Alehouse in Wisconsin is seeking a friendly Host to warmly greet guests on arrival, acknowledge them by name when possible, and manage seating to best serve guest wishes.

You will record guest names and party sizes during peak times, call guests when tables become available, and coordinate with servers to deliver a smooth dining experience. The role requires standing for long periods, strong grooming, teamwork, and a willingness to help with tasks across the floor.

Responsibilities

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Record guest names and number of people in party when needed.
• Call out name and number of party when tables become available.
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
• Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow.
• Inspect table for proper presentation and inform guests of servers and specials.
• Relay messages to servers or managers as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions.
