Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and cleaning.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices and ability to follow health regulations.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the arrival experience.
• Record guest names and party sizes and issue pagers when seating is full.
• Provide estimated wait times and notify guests as tables become available.
• Escort guests to tables with menus and silverware.
• Communicate guest seating needs to servers for smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host area and dining entrances.
• Assist with removing and clearing dishes as guests depart.
• Coordinate with servers to optimize seating and table turnover.
• Be flexible and available to fill in where needed.
