Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to provide outstanding guest service, handle check-ins/outs, process payments, and manage front desk daily paperwork in a fast-paced hotel setting.

You will assist guests, answer phones, coordinate reservations, and ensure safety and security procedures are followed. A 100% guest-focused service culture is expected, with attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology; ability to work through shift reports and audit as needed.
• Understand and comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Manage problems, address and solve guest-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to guest experience; resolve guest requests with follow-through.
• Handle reservations, registration, payment, and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain front desk area, lobby, and guest areas in compliance with standards.
• Assist with breakfast setup, display, and breakdown in timely manner.
• Sell ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
