Spartanburg Marriott is seeking a Front Desk Host to provide a warm, personalized check-in experience and coordinate front desk, bell services, and concierge tasks. You will greet guests, assist with luggage, and share hotel knowledge to enhance their stay.

You will maintain confidentiality, handle room quotes, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure smooth operations while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads.

Responsabilités

• Assign and escort guests to rooms according to their preferences and ensure a personalized experience.
• Assist guests to their rooms and with luggage as needed.
• Provide room quotes and upsell where possible.
• Interact with guests using name-based personalization and share hotel knowledge.
• Understand hotel functions and endorse brand rewards to guests.
• Provide local information for shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreation.
• Receive, store, and deliver luggage and mail; run errands for guests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Desk for smooth operations.
• Verify charges and collect payment for room stays; respond to inquiries.
• Follow scheduled shifts and maintain confidentiality and cleanliness.

Connaissances

High School diploma or higher

Previous hospitality experience

Excellent customer service

Excellent communication skills
