Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food and that the crew is well trained.

This role keeps a clean, organized line, supports food safety, resolves incidents, monitors breaks and shifts, and develops front-of-house staff with an eye toward future Service Leaders. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, gloves, time/temperature on the line, shelf life monitoring, Daily Food Safety Checklist adherence.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train front of house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained and stocked.
