Job summary

Flanigan's in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking dependable team members for restaurant service. You will follow safety and sanitation policies, assist with table upkeep, and know the menu to guide guests. You will enter orders into the POS and deliver meals promptly, handling payments and tips with accuracy.

Applicants must be able to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible hours in a fast-paced setting. Florida Vendor and food safety certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Stand/walk 100% of shift required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to speak, read and write English; read/write guest checks.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
