Job summary

Flanigan’s in Surfside, FL is seeking friendly, outgoing team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will learn menu items, promote current promotions, and ensure accurate orders and timely service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining spotless tables, handling POS transactions, greeting guests, and supporting curbside pickup. We offer a five-day work week, paid vacation, health insurance, and 401K eligibility for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs to deliver plates and clear spaces.
• Ability to read/write English.
• Complete Florida Responsible Vendor program.
• Complete Florida food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance and service.
• Be knowledgeable regarding menus, promotions, and answer guests’ questions clearly.
• Accurately enter orders into POS system.
• Deliver orders from kitchen/bar to guests in a timely manner.
• Collect payments and ensure transactions are correct using POS.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, sidework.
• Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests.
• Greet guests at curbside pickup area.
