Job summary

AutoCamp is seeking a dynamic Guest Experience Team Member to join our service-driven team. This position offers flexible, part-time hours in a hospitality setting with daily involvement in guest registrations, meal service support, and on-site guest relations.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for outdoors, strong customer service, and the ability to work with cloud-based tools. Benefits include health coverage options, 401k, PTO, and more as part of our supportive Autocamp environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering guest delight in hospitality
• Experience in food and beverage is preferred
• Comfort using cloud-based apps and Google Suite products
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in tasks
• Hospitality background, preferably hotels/resorts
• Food and beverage background is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide courteous service
• Monitor kitchen cleanliness and safety compliance
• Assist in cooking and serving meals and beverages as needed
• Restock store and back-of-house supplies regularly
• Help guests with registration and accommodation needs
• Assist with check-ins/check-outs and reservations
• Handle guest messages and inquiries
• Resolve billing discrepancies and assist with cancellations

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Greet and welcome guests by speaking in a warm, friendly and courteous manner.
• Monitor the kitchen for cleanliness and adherence to food and drink safety laws.
• Helping cook and serve meals and beverages when necessary.
• Regularly restocking the store and back of the house.
• Support guests with registration and accommodation assignments, helping with special requests when needed and possible.
• Guide guests with check-ins/check-outs in an efficient and friendly manner, and in accordance to Autocamp's policies.
• Collect and distribute messages for guests.
• Pre-register, block and take same day reservations; and when necessary future reservations following hotel rate structures, discounts, and sell strategies.
• Resolve guest complaints and assists with inquiries that relate to Autocamp's services, events, directions, local attractions, etc.
• Assist in solving billing discrepancies.
• Perform cancellations according to procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES

• Must be over 21 to pour alcohol.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A passion for the great outdoors and creating delight for guests
• Previous food and beverage experience preferred
• Ability and comfort in working with cloud based applications; knowledge of Google Suite products preferred
• Strong relational skills
• Thoroughness and an attention to detail
• Excellent and attentive customer service
• Hospitality background, preferably in hotels or resorts.
• Food and beverage background.
