Job summary

FB Society is seeking a dedicated service assistant to support the service staff and ensure guest satisfaction in Houston, TX. You will help with water service, busser duties, and delivering food to guests in various dining areas, while maintaining bar areas and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Able to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktails.
• Properly use a knife and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain all necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with guests and staff professionally and positively.
• Assist the server staff in filling water, as well as pre-busser.
• Running all food to the guests both inside, outside and upstairs.
• Ensuring water bottles are stocked.
• Refilling and drinks as needed.
• Empty bus tubs and prebus the dining room.
• Make batch cocktails according to proper recipes, as well as understand the batch system to ensure proper changing of canisters.
• Arriving for the shift on time and ready to work in proper uniform.
• Use all machines in a safe, sanitary manner, while ensuring pars for the dining room and line are met.
• Following directions from management, as well as the servers and hosts.
• All food runners should have extensive knowledge of the menu and should be able to answer any guest’s questions about food or drinks.
• Obtain and update any required certifications. Set up and break down the bar area before and after each shift, while cleaning floors, bar top, and wells.
• Emptying trash cans, putting away dishes and making sure the expo line is set up for success.
