Job summary

Mountain Lake is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead front-of-house and banquet operations at Mountain Lake—Pembroke, Virginia. Qualifications

• Minimum four years of progressive Food & Beverage experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, banquet, or comparable hospitality setting.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a full-service Food & Beverage operation.
• Demonstrated front-of-house leadership experience and ability to read and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Strong guest-service, communication, leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory controls, and financial performance in F&B.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house and banquet operations across restaurants, bars, and event spaces.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, reservations, and service flow to ensure quality guest experiences.
• Coordinate with culinary leadership on menu execution, dietary needs, and event timelines.
• Manage guest concerns, service recovery, and ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Catering & Events for seamless on-property execution of events.
