Job summary

Engedi Church seeks a Part-time Guest Experience Coordinator to enhance the Sunday gatherings and special events at the Holland Campus. You will lead Greeters, Ushers, Parking, Information, Coffee, and New Here teams with a focus on mission and hospitality.

You will recruit and train volunteers, coach team leaders, and manage communications and scheduling. Collaborate with Creative Pastor on goals and budget, and handle monthly expense reporting and supply tracking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Guest Experience teams and processes for Engedi Holland Campus gatherings and events.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to execute roles with mission and enthusiasm.
• Coach volunteer leaders and empower ministry teams through relationships.
• Manage volunteer information and scheduling in Engedi’s databases.
• Communicate with volunteers and staff via emails, calls, texts and meetings.
• Collaborate with Creative Pastor on annual Guest Experience goals and budget.
• Complete monthly expense reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain orders and tracking for Guest Experience supplies.
• Seek collaboration with other Engedi ministries.
• Establish best practices to resource all campuses for a consistent Guest Experience.
• Carry out duties and additional responsibilities to ensure ministry success.
• Collaborate with Creative Coordinator for holiday programming and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the Guest Experience teams and processes for the Engedi Holland Campus Gatherings and Special Events. This includes Greeters, Ushers, Parking Lot, Information, Coffee, and New Here teams.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to execute each role with excellence, a strong sense of mission and infectious enthusiasm
• Equip and empower volunteer leaders to lead teams within the ministry through coaching relationships
• Manage volunteer information and scheduling through Engedi’s database platforms
• Manage all forms of communication to volunteers and relevant staff members including emails, phone calls, texts and in person meetings in order to meet the needs of the ministry
• Collaborate with the Creative Pastor on annual goals and budget for Guest Experience
• Complete monthly expense reports with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain updated orders and tracking for all Guest Experience ministry supply needs
• Seek out opportunities for collaboration with other Engedi ministries
• Establish best practices and systems for resourcing all Engedi campuses for a consistent Guest Experience ministry experience church-wide
• Carry out all the above mentioned duties along with additional responsibilities, as necessary to ensure the success of the Guest Experience ministry
• Collaborate with Creative Coordinator for holiday programming and special events

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in all monthly staff meetings (2 nd Monday of the month)
• Participate in all staff prayer meetings (every Monday)
• Participate in all Worship Nights
• Attend staff retreats (twice annually, one of which is overnight)

OTHER DETAILS

• Part-time, 25 hours/week position including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, subsidized onsite daycare at Holland Campus, and matching 403b contributions
• Reports to Creative & Worship Pastor
