Job summary

Hotel Paseo, Autograph Collection, in Palm Desert seeks a Cook I to prepare and cook all food items per menus, expedite orders, and guide junior team members to standards. This role supports a boutique luxury dining environment within a Marcus Hotels & Resorts portfolio property.

The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities. You will work on station setup, proper storage, sanitation, and consistent food presentation while maintaining high guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; minimum 3 years in a similar position preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare station-specific food items according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Monitor product storage, portion sizes, and special items like stocks and sauces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas to meet Health Department regulations.
• Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and operational.
• Uphold high standards of food production and presentation.
• Maintain personal hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Manage station setup, breakdown, and prep work.
