Job summary

Shaner Hotels' Residence Inn Norwalk is seeking a friendly front desk associate to welcome guests, check them in and out, and provide information about local attractions. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Candidates should have at least one year of customer service experience, be comfortable with basic computer tasks and payments, and ideally speak English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Accounting/Data Entry prior experience a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out; process payments and ensure accuracy according to hotel policies.
• Offer information and services to guests and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with basic restaurant/bar duties or other duties as assigned as needed.
