Job summary

Shaner Hotels’ Residence Inn Norwalk is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Norwalk, CT. This on-site role handles guest check-ins/outs, payments, and daily reporting to various departments within a modern 102-room extended-stay property located in downtown Norwalk.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least one year of customer service experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; computer and data-entry skills are valued. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, management and co-workers.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Accounting/Data Entry experience a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services during check-in/check-out; process payments according to hotel requirements.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
