Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is seeking a motivated Multi-Purpose Clerk to join our team across Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli and related areas. You will promote sales, answer guest questions, handle requests, and log shipments while maintaining safety and quality standards.

As a valued associate, you’ll rotate through departments, support guest services, and help keep shelves stocked and appealing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent guest service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Six months of grocery retail related experience.
• Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours.
• Requires standing and lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate check stand, memorize PLU codes, stock and rotate products across Center Store operations.
• Receive, inspect, and log products; stock and merchandise to maintain freshness and department appeal.
• Serve guests at the Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli areas; take special orders and ensure quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation store-wide; assist with safety and equipment upkeep.
• May operate forklift or baler if authorized; perform other duties as assigned.
