Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in California is hiring for the Multi-Purpose Clerk to support Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, and Guest Services departments, with a focus on delivering a standout guest experience.

As part of a 12,000-strong team, you will answer guest questions, handle special orders, stock and rotate products, operate the register when needed, and keep the store clean, safe, and inviting across shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months grocery retail experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Available to work a variety of required retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate the register and assist guests as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products across departments.
• Promote sales within the assigned department and respond to guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; ensure safe work areas.
• Participate in special orders and provide great guest service across shifts.
