Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is recruiting for a Multi-Purpose Clerk to support several departments including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, and Janitorial. Duties include stocking, rotating items, operating the POS, and logging shipments while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate the checkstand according to company policy; handle POS and inventory activities.
• Receive, inspect, log, and rotate products; ensure freshness and department appeal.
• Provide customer service at various department counters and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; follow food handling procedures across departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned across Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial.
