Job summary

SpartanNash, operating through its D&W Fresh Market brand in Holland, MI, is seeking a part-time Retail Associate. The role focuses on delivering courteous guest service in-store or by phone, handling transactions, and guiding guests to the right departments.

You’ll work with a team to maintain shelves and promote store programs. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail or guest services preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous guest service in person or by telephone and direct calls to the appropriate department.
• Process transactions such as credits, refunds, money orders, and coupons per policies.
• Operate cash register and assist guests with self-checkouts across departments.
• Maintain knowledge of current store programs, pricing, and product locations.
• Follow all PPE, safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Support other departments as needed to enhance guest experience.
