Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a team member to provide excellent guest service in a Williamston, MI store. You will bag groceries, assist customers with carry-out service, and keep the department clean and organized.

The role requires good communication, the ability to work independently, and adherence to safety and guest experience guidelines. High School Diploma preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries using proper supplies and techniques.
• Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines and the bottle return area.
• Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts; load groceries into customers’ vehicles.
• Know the location of products in the store and assist guests as needed.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
• Work independently and complete tasks promptly.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines; adhere to guest experience standards.
• May assist other departments based on customer needs.
