Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate in Fort Wayne, IN to greet guests, assist with finding items, and ensure a quick, friendly shopping experience. You will help guests navigate products, explain store policies, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

You will promote the Target Loyalty program, help with returns, Drive Up, and order pickup, and keep the store clean while delivering exceptional guest service to every guest who walks through our doors.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and help them find what they need to ensure a smooth shopping experience

• Promote Target’s loyalty programs and explain app features
• Scan and bag items accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Support order pick up, Drive Up, and online ordering
• Handle returns or exchanges following policies
