Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly, following policies to increase satisfaction.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, bags merchandise and places items in customer carts.
• Maintains accuracy during transactions, ensuring correct charges and funds are collected, following cash drawer procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions and store layout to answer questions.
• Ensures sanitation and cleanliness, follows schedules to keep work areas and equipment clean and OSHA compliant.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store function and continuously improve performance.
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
