Job summary

Chuck-A-Rama in Provo is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet guests, process payments, and help guests join Chuck-A-Rama Rewards. You’ll answer questions about pricing, promotions, and buffet offerings, and make sure each transaction is accurate.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly, reliable and willing to learn.
• Comfortable handling money and processing transactions.
• Able to stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests as they arrive.
• Processing cash, credit, and other approved forms of payment.
• Providing accurate change and receipts.
• Answering questions about buffet pricing, hours, promotions, and restaurant offerings.
• Helping guests with Chuck-A-Rama Rewards and available offers.
• Making sure transactions and guest counts are entered accurately.
• Keeping the register and entrance area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Balancing your cash drawer and following cash-handling procedures.
• Communicating guest questions or concerns to a manager when needed.
• Thanking guests and helping create a positive experience from the very beginning.
• Working with teammates to keep things running smoothly during busy periods.
