Job summary

Chuck-A-Rama is seeking friendly cashiers to warmly welcome guests and manage quick, accurate transactions.

You will greet visitors, handle payments, assist with Chuck-A-Rama Rewards, promotions, and buffet information while keeping the front of the restaurant organized and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and process payments
• Provide accurate change and receipts
• Answer questions about pricing, hours, promotions, and offerings
• Help guests with Chuck-A-Rama Rewards and offers
• Ensure transactions and guest counts are entered accurately
• Keep the register and entrance area clean and welcoming
• Balance cash drawer and follow cash-handling procedures
• Relay guest questions or concerns to a manager
• Thank guests and contribute to a positive first impression
• Collaborate with teammates to keep operations smooth during busy times

At Chuck-A-Rama, a great guest experience starts the moment someone walks through our doors. Our Cashiers are often the first friendly face our guests see, helping them feel welcome and ready to enjoy their meal. As a Cashier, you'll greet guests, process payments, answer questions, and help make their arrival quick, easy, and friendly. You'll also help guests with Chuck-A-Rama Rewards, explain pricing or promotions, and make sure each transaction is handled accurately. If you're friendly, comfortable talking with people, and enjoy making someone's day a little better, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

A typical shift may include:

• Welcoming guests as they arrive
• Processing cash, credit, and other approved forms of payment
• Providing accurate change and receipts
• Answering questions about buffet pricing, hours, promotions, and restaurant offerings
• Helping guests with Chuck-A-Rama Rewards and available offers
• Making sure transactions and guest counts are entered accurately
• Keeping the register and entrance area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Balancing your cash drawer and following cash-handling procedures
• Communicating guest questions or concerns to a manager when needed
• Thanking guests and helping create a positive experience from the very beginning
• Working with your teammates to keep things running smoothly during busy periods
