Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Cashier to efficiently process customer transactions at the POS and assist shoppers with product recommendations. The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork in a busy retail environment.

The Cashier will greet customers, handle merchandise with care, and promote store programs while maintaining inventory and a welcoming shopping experience. This is a part-time in-store role.

Qualifications

• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with staff and customers.
• Proficient in operating a computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Checkout customers and process sales through the POS registers.
• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up products.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
